Default Clutch advice

Looking for recommendations from everyone's experience. I have a new to me 04 TXT gas. First cart. I took it to my Hunting lease this weekend to see how it would perform. I have a couple of steep hills that the belt starts slipping going up them. If I get a running start it will make it but very rough and a little dangerous. That is just with me no passengers. with another adult cant make it.

I have researched the G boost and plan on calling them on Monday.
Just want to look at all options.

2004 gas TXT stock as far as I know. 290 Motor. 4" lift 23 x 10.50 -12 tires

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can try a 1 inch shorter drive belt, and or a high torque drive clutch spring.

I tried a Gates 6098 belt on my tired old 96 TXT. It made quite a difference in low speed torque. Not a bad gamble for under $30.

It will be tough to get on but work at it slow. It will go. If you don't like it cut it off and go for the clutch mod.

I would buy a 28* driven clutch. I think it is one of the best mods on a ezgo. Still keep easy shifting (shorter belt). Tires will keep spinning till it loses traction or tips over backwards.

Thanks for the responses, I have learned a lot from this site. I have ordered a G boost clutch kit from the research on this site.
