98 ezgo starter generator
Yesterday I was cruising along with no problem then I stopped to say hi to a friend. I pushed the pedal to leave and nothing. I noticed the connection on the face of the S/G was just spinning when I moved the wire. Will that stop the S/G from working and what would cause it to suddenly go bad?

Re: 98 ezgo starter generator
Ok not on the face but on the side, it has the little wire going to the solenoid. Its hanging almost all the way out. Is there a way to fix that?

Re: 98 ezgo starter generator
you will need to strip down the s/g to find out for sure what the issue is. it may just be loose and need tightening or the problem could be deeper. The small green wire is what controls the charging.
