Lift kit for Club Car?
What is the best lift kit for a club car (gas) DS model? Highest and strongest? When I was browsing I saw some golf cart lift kits actaully come with the new cradle for the engine ect. What brand is that? and are those avail. for Club Car? Thanks

Re: Lift kit for Club Car?
Stick with All Sports or Jake's. Both top quality. If you are looking for a lift view the site sponsors, they have everything you will need and top quality parts.
Site Sponsors - http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php Jake's - http://www.jakescarts.com/index.shtml If you have the need for SERIOUS offroading, not trail riding, then check out Stretch Plastics. If you plan to go trail riding stick with the All Sports without a doubt, since it does not widen the track. Jake's also will take more than just a beating, very strong kits. The spindle kit from Jake's is not too expensive and fits many peoples interests for minor offroading and cruising the neighborhood. Stretch Plastics - http://www.strechplastics.com/Lift%20Kits.htm The Stretch, however will require a bit more out off your pocket, a lot more, and it has a very wide turning radius. Stretch also has a rear long travel. WickedCarts, could probably help you out with the rear, they build custom cradles. |

Re: Lift kit for Club Car?
So your saying with the custom cradle from Wicked Carts the point of that is to have the motor up a little higher and no angle??? Or still on an angle but sits higher?

No, it provides a long travel suspension system for the rear of the cart, it is designed so the engine rests level, but the rear is dropped to raise the cart. I am not sure if Wicked works with Club Cars or not. I think it just might be EZ-GO's but let's wait WickedCarts might help out or you can pm him. Stretch also makes a custom cradle for Club Cars.

No, I am not a rep. However, I support them because everyone that has their products are very pleased and their products are manufactured in the US. I just try to help people with what they are interested in. Just look at what IMNFL has in his signiture.

Re: Lift kit for Club Car?
You were digging deep in the archives, huh? This is a 2 yr old thread
Are you looking for a Long Travel front & rear like these guys were talking about or just a spindle lift like most carts get? And what height and size tires do you need or want and what about power. Are you prepared to loose power when you bolt up bigger wheels and tires? You may need power upgrades.... You will find a current discussion here today on suspension... You may find more help if you post your question there. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...uspension.html |
