Default my G9 wont go in reverse

Hope someone can help. My 1995 g9 was running fine yesterday. Today i took it out and when i put it in reverse i could not move the lever all the way. It felt like it was frozen as it would only move half way. It was very cold here last night so i was thinking something was frozen. I went out to try later in the day and i was able to put in in reverse and the reverse buzzer was beeping but it won't go in reverse. When i step on the gas it rev's but doesnt move. The clutch does not engage but works fine forward. Any ideas?

Maybe one cable broke because it froze. What do I know, I live in Phoenix, but if moisture is in the jacket, I could see it happening. Need to spray a good lubricating oil into each jacket at the shifter handle. Slide off the rubber dust caps, and use the straw that comes with the oil.

Spray your cables down really good with WD-40 each time you service the cart. Make it regular maintenance on the cart.
