Trying to Figure Out Year
Hi all, I just bought a four-wheel Harley cart and I am trying to figure out what year it is. My serial # has a 7C in it so I think from looking online that this would be an 82 but I'm not sure. I know 82 is when Columbia bought out the company and I have noticed there is a difference in parts when ordering for an 81 or an 82.
Any suggestions welcome, this is going to be a winter project so I'm sure I'll have more questions. It's running right now but needs to be gone over, I already see a leak by the carb and there is some minor fiberglass work to do before I paint. Thanks. |

I was trying to figure out the year of mine also and found some info. Mine starts with 7c also but I believe it is a 80. The info I found said that the last 2 letters are the year the 7c is the model. If the last two letters are J something it was made in the 80s and the last number is the year of that decade. I double checked the serial #, it's H6 so I believe that would be an 86. Thanks for the clarification, now I now what year it is anyway, let the project begin.

Hello - - If I am correct I am believe the H6 means it is a 1976.

H6 is a 1976...I have a H4 which is a 1974. Good Luck!!!
