Default Upgrading for Speed

I have an 01 EzGo txt non DCS system. I just lifted it and it is very slow especially uphill. I am new to the cart frenzy. So how can I make this baby run without hesitation uphill as well? I assume controller and Motor but there are tons of options. Also they are not clear on what kind of increase in speed you will get either.

We upgrade alot of our lifted EZGO's to a 2 speed motor - It's awesome and about 1/2 the price of a motor / controller upgrade. Torque mode at 18 mph and High Speed mode at 24 mph. You should also upgrade to 4 guage wires...

Another F/R switch is usually used. Check out site sponser EMP.

It is typically another f/r handle rigged to switch between wires on the motor.

Kits come complete with 2 speed motor and switch kit. Wires are color coded - ANYONE can instal this system. The best part is no high amnperage that will eventually burn up, as in most controller / motor upgrades.

Welcome to the BGW site. Contact site sponser Electrical Motor Products or Mikes motor toys for a price quote. You also have the option of upgrading to 48 volts for 30% more power & speed......good luck.
