Excessive Steering Play
I need some help.
My parents have an older EZ-GO with some really sloppy steering. Appears to have a small rack and pinion unit, but stepping back, I guess I need to identify the unit, here is all I found under the drivers seat: Model # X444 - 1P SERIAL # 1244 XL675 MFG. # 412 2309G The tie rod ends and such all looked OK, all the play seems to be in the rack and pinion unit - This was from a 10 minute inspection, I plan to make a more complete check, any and all advise appreciated, including parts sources. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!! |
