Exclamation 87 ezgo solenoid

Just bought someone's problems now there mine! Solenoid clicks when pushing on go pedal sometimes it will move if I keep pushing it several times! But now nothing. Please first ezgo ?????

If it were me after reading all of the great input from this forum I would go over all of the cable connections between the batteries, controller and motor to make sure they are all clean with no corrosion and all of the nuts are tight .That is the easiest stuff to check right now so I would start with that .Let us know what you find then we can all go from there .

Ok everything checks out on being tight & everything is clean! I do see it was upgraded has a Curtis 1204 speed controller added & assuming speed assembly switch at go pedal. Is there a way I can bench test each of these so I can rule them out???
