Got the motor back togather and running great. I got amsoil and mixed it 80 to 1. Only smokes a little when starting. The only thing I have found that it smell hot after taking it for a long ride.

It's statements like this "some parts jockey that GoTeeMan bumped into." that make your comments less valuable to me. I don't demean others comments it would certainly be nice if others would be so accomodating, but I digress.

My info came from 17+ year veteran parts guy/ mechanic, so I trust his opinion as he hasn't steered me wrong yet. I never said your info was wrong but after running my cart for extended periods I need to lift the seat to let the heat out but I certainly don't have to after running the kids and their tubes to the pool. The engine in my car doesn't even get hot in my 1 mile jaunt to work but at the end of running 15 miles to my in-laws the engine has reached a couple hundred degrees, engines generate more heat in long runs than short bursts. Prove me wrong otherwise.

I run 80:1, I fugure a little extra isn't gonna hurt a thing. Again I never said the manual was wrong just passing along info from an experienced tech/parts guy.

Enjoy your day
