Check with your Metal-Suppliers,see if they do any Surplus or Buy-Back programs.Also ask about stained or damaged sheets.A place here does this and you get screaming deals on all kinds of stuff.Sometimes the damage is one small spot,so they remove the sheet from inventory and scrap it,or sell it for a reduced price.The surplus and buy-back is often extra stuff that a vendor ordered and returned.Usually its' re-sold by the pound or at a very cut rate.Hope this helps.

Just looking for aluminum diamond plate, First piece i bought for my was 2ft by 4ft, and they made me a great deal, but it was 1//8 inch, I would like to find some thinner gauge, the 1/8 was really hard to bend. Let me know

Are you using a sheet metal brake or an aluminum brake? I guess try it and see how the 1/16" works...
