2001 Club Car DS lifted 3" Largest wheel and tire combo?
Like the thread says, I have a 2001 club car DS with Jakes 3" lift kit on it. I want to know what is the largest rim size and tire combo I can put on the cart. I have either 10's or 12's on there now, cant remember (ill look when I get home). I want to fill up the wheel well better. Currently the tire and rims look tiny on the cart. Thanks!

You could use those rims and go with a 22 or 23 inch tire. Would make it look much better

They make them just look for them do a web search for 22-11-12 tires

Jake's site says 20" max with the 3" spindle lift. I have the same lift, with a 1" block also in the front, with 20" tires, it looks like it would clear 21-22" tires now, but before the 1" lift 22"s would deff rub when turning.

I was told by Jake's when they installed my 3" Spindle lift that 20's were as big as I could go.

I agree with mrgolf, keep the rims and find some 22" street tires. That should fill that wheel gap up nicely and give you an overall better ride quality vs those low pro tires.

That is the biggest 3 inch lift kit I have ever seen.
Please let us know what size are your wheels, and what is the diameter of your current low profile tires? By contrast here is a picture of my 2006 DS with an All Sports/CC 3" lift kit. It has 23" off road tires on 12" wheels. Aflyer |
