Default Lift kit woos or nooos

Have a question about my lift. I'm getting up and down movement in the king pin area where the tooth pick is, not much though. and it makes a click when it moves.
Tires are off, when I move the wheel hub up by hand is when it moves.
Is this normal?

Guess I will have to take apart and try to press top and bottom bushings in some. Can't stand the slop.

Bill,
what kind of cart, and is that a stock front end or a lift kit? If its a lift kit what kind is it?

I am working on a DS, it has a wave washer at the bottom of the king pin, and then just the bearings, no washer on top of the bearings.

BillDurden,
Sounds like your project is similar to mine, but with different parts.

I don't know anything about Jakes 6" lift, but I agree the up and down movement would bother me too.

Maybe give them a call and ask what is causing it.

Sorry I can't offer more help, but maybe somebody else has installed that lift and has some experience with it.
