Default Need tires and wheels

Hi

My 2010 precedent is riding on stock "Kendra hole in one ". Tires

18x8.5 -8

I only need street tires. I would like mags which seem to be aluminum .

Would like 10"

I also realize l am limited because of the cc design! Low profile would be neat.

If a size would increase my speed l want it.

Thanks

Kingman,
Yep, you have a dilemma. I put 215-50 X 12 Low Profile tires on my Precedent, they are about 21" tall which helped a little with the speed, but I have a 4" All Sports lift in Front and a home made 1.5" lift in the rear.

Check out this link, I am not sure I believe it, but it is a reference point.

http://www.golfcarttiresupply.com/ho...rt-tire-sizes/

I am sure others will jump in and tell you what you can fit on your Precedent without lifting it.

Thanks it is so confusing because the three cart shops within cart range push what they have which l understand. I would rather one shop do everything but it doesn't seem it is going to happen.
Plus their prices are so far apart.

Seeing you are in Georgia give Dave at Revolution Golf Cars a call.

I don't know if he is in driving distance for you, but he ships real fast.

Kingman,
Yep, I can understand that point as well.

What kind of speed do you get now, any modifications done on your cart yet?

CC Code 4, speed magnet etc?

Hi

CC Prec 2010 6X8 Trojan 875's with markings G2 on all 4 batteries July 2012

I bought it from a cc dealer that kept it at a country club for display and put new batteries in it when l bought it. It was never pre owned.

Right now my cart is 100% stock except code 4

I was able to hit 19.6 mph until a couple of months ago then recently l l rechecked my speed with a gps app because l felt l was slowing down and l was able to reach 16/17 mph.

My biggest complaint was going up hills from the beginning it was slow especially
with a passenger.

Thanks

Yep Code 4 will give you 19.6, bigger diameter tires will give you a little more. But they will also decrease torque a little bit.

I would say your batteries are nearing the end of their useful life.

Have you read the all about batteries Sticky? I pasted the link below:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...batteries.html

Everything I read says 5 years is close to max for these things.

Do some battery testing if you can and let us know what kind of voltage readings you are getting?
