Default Can someone tell if I'm 48 volt capable?

I have an 88 DS that has been upgraded to solid state. My batteries are shot. I bought the cart like this so I did no upgrades. I'm wondering if I can go to 48 volts. Unfortunately I can't find model numbers. I'm hoping that someone can help from pictures I took maybe not I dunno.

The controller is from buggies unlimited and I believe it's an older curtis 480. The motor is a GE 36/48.

TIA.

Looks like the old Logisystems 480. You will have to find a 36-48 label on it to be sure - The solenoid looks like it will not go 48, but identifying the controller's capability should be your #1 priority.

Ok I finally found the numbers underneath. It does say volts - 48. Amps - 480. It is a logisystems. There's one more number 5k-1 I believe. I'm thinking this was probably a 48 volt solid state conversion from buggies unlimited.

Yes, I'm guessing a new 48v 200a solenoid with a 470Ω resistor and 3 amp diode and you are ready to rock and roll

Point me to the one on your site that you recommend and I will buy it today. Hopefully it's plug and play.

Just picked up 6 - 8v Crowns for $720. Put them in today and cart has awoken. Went from 12mph to 16mph (stock tires). Pick up is great.
