2000.5 Tourall/DS 48v, help IDing a part(s)
Hi folks. I'm a newbie here but have been reading thread after thread to help me along on my first Club Car project. Been lurking around for awhile before actually pulling the trigger on a project cart.
Anyway, I found a 2000.5 48v Tourall/Villager Serial#T0042-948398. Finally got around to pulling things apart and found this mystery box (photo 1) mounted next to the OBC which I can't seem to identify through any variation of Club Car parts list manuals, etc. Any ideas? The Red is a fused run which terminates onto the solenoid. The Black is connected to the B- terminal on the Curtis 1204 controller. The White connects to the keyswitch. Out the bottom of the box, the Yellow is spliced into the red wire coming out of a small box (last photo - Cont. Var. Pot?) mounted onto the frame in front of the battery tray by the F/R Switch. Thanks in advance and pardon my ignorance or perhaps misuse of terms, I'm still learning! |

Re: New Project, help IDing a part(s)
I don't know what the box is but picture 4 looks like a small fuse bank. take the cover off and look
Follow the wire coming from the mystery box to the fuse bank and see where it goes from there. It may be a reducer |

Thanks Sonoco. You're probably right about the fuse bank in that 4th photo. Just seemed mounted in an odd spot. I'll break it open after work.
