Re: 2001 ds
Might not run because it only has 5 batteries in it, needs 6 to run (unless it is 48 volt with a 4-12v battery set up).... I bought a 2000 Club car with new batteries, radio lights, etc. for $1350. I would say that the cart you are looking at could be worth around that minus the cost of batteries. Also depends on the area you are located in.

Re: 2001 ds
If its a 2000 it should be a 48 Volt. It also depends when it was made in 2000 to know if it will be the newer body style with the single back rest or the old style with the double back rest as the switched mid year. There was one locally for sale with bad batteries for $650. I was waiting to hear back on the serial number and it was sold before I heard back. I knew I should have just gone and looked at it.

Re: 2001 ds
I'd like it it was 48v, simply bc it's easier to get some more speed out of it. I think if I can spend $500 then I'll snag it, maybe less once I see it
I agree the note saying 5 batteries is odd. I figure it's supposed to say 6 |

Re: 2001 ds
If you don't want it let me know where it is. Might be worth a drive.

Re: 2001 ds
Houston is close enough. If you don't want it, and it's pretty solid other than batteries., I could make that drive. But it would be next weekend. Need to deliver a couple bows to a friend down that way as well.

Re: 2001 ds
For that price it's a nobrainer no matter what it is. Even if it's a 36 volt resistor cart, and yes they made them in 2001, cause I have an 02 resistor cart. You can upgrade to solid state and run 48 volts. If it's a 48 volt controller cart upgrading will be a tad easier. The fact that she said it was bought for a parade probably means it's in decent shape
