Default Cable Upgrade

Hi all,
When you update your cables to 4 Gauge, or 2 Gauge do you also use 4 Gauge or 2 Gauge for the F1 & F2 cables from the controller to the motor?

Thank you,
Aflyer

No. The F1 and F2 wires carry low amperage unlike the A1 and A2 cables which carry hundreds of amps at times.
You can refresh with 10g wires if you like

Scottyb,
Thank you, I am building from scratch, and have nothing currently.

I will pick up some 10 Gauge for those two cables.

Thank you,

Scottyb,
That is a whole other decision, I haven't made yet.

I am using a CC DS wire harness, and installing a CC charger port, but haven't decided yet on a CC or aftermarket charging system.

For a total refurb and upgrade I would not use the OEM OBC system.

I hear ya, there are allot of people suggesting either DPI or Lester chargers are the way to go.

And with all the BGW threads I see with fried OBC issues, I can see some advantages.

Thanks,
