Default Cart Stalls

I have a 2007 Clubcar Villager. Ser# QE0721-759827. It has 2 problems, 1 the reverse beeper does not work. 2 it has a problem while driving it will cut out. If you release the accelerator and depress again it works fine. It is charged and shows 51 volts, I have replaced 1 battery because it was shorted, I have replaced the solenoid and have an MCOR on order. I connected a tester to it while driving to monitor throttle position, when it cuts out it still shows 100% throttle position as I have the pedal fully depressed. It does not show any active faults. I cleared all the logged faults in history but after this happens it shows a history fault of HPD (high pedal disable) As I am a truck mechanic by trade golf carts are new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The HPD fault can be caused by the MCOR.

If the micro-switch inside the MCOR fails momentarily, since your foot stays at 100% throttle, the Controller will generate the HPD fault when the micro-switch makes contact again and the Controller detects the throttle was already active.

That same fault can also be caused by an intermittent failure in anything else in that pedal micro-switch circuit: key switch, connectors, sonic-weld wire junctions.

Hopefully the MCOR is your problem since You already have it on order.

Guy hasn't even logged in since 5/22/17. Maybe that MCOR fixed his problem so he didnt' feel teh need to return. :/
