Re: 06 club car Alltrax install
Looks good, the only thing the picture doesn't show is the tow/run wire on the battery side solenoid big post.

Re: 06 club car Alltrax install
Are there grommets where the wires run through the metal openings?
Just asking and to prevent future problems, hard to tell for sure. Nice job though. Sent from my SM-T387V using Tapatalk |

Re: 06 club car Alltrax install
I want to bring this post back to the top as I have the exact question. I just got done with my install as well but have a question to where the run/tow wire goes to as well. It’s the only wire I have left to place and don’t know where it needs to go. I thought is was to go to B- but it won’t reach. Am I wrong?

Re: 06 club car Alltrax install
The tow/run switch pink wire connects to the Solenoid big post that has the battery cable.
The solenoid big post that goes to the Controller should only have the cable to Controller B+ and the Regen diode (side without the stripe). You don't use a pre-charge resistor with the Alltrax XCT. All of those negative wires on your first picture go to the Controller B-. |

EDIT: Now, I realize what you're saying. You misunderstood what Sergio said. When he said you don't need the resistor he meant you don't need the entire cable! So, take the yellow cable off. |

Re: 06 club car Alltrax install
Correct, I could not see what that yellow wire was connecting and that is why I described the only two connections on the Controller side of the Solenoid.
You need to remove that yellow jumper wire between the big posts Also, always put the big cable lug first on the solenoid big post, the regen diode ring connector and any other ring connectors on the battery side always go on top of the main cable lug. The same thing applies to the Controller B- terminal, place the main battery cable in direct contact with the controller metal tab and place the other negative wires on top. |
