Kelly controller
Does anybody know anything about Kelly KDZ-E 650amp, local guy has one, says it will work with my cart (1999 ds 48v series), but it seems to me his asking price is suspicious knowing what other controllers go for. And I am just starting to learn about these things.

Re: Kelly controller
I have never heard of it till I saw this post. Looks like a China made product. I'm curious on the response you get on this topic. China stuff can be hit or miss!

Re: Kelly controller
I looked at the website and it reminds me of alot of some other generic EV sites that kit together a bunch of value priced components (take that however you want) to sell. I would be hesitant of support but it maybe OK, if the price was right (really cheap) and I was ready for a project I may give it a go. Im suspicious of the numbers saying it produces constant 260A without having a fan on it, that seems a little to good to be true!

Re: Kelly controller
Whatever you decide make sure your throttle signal matches what the controller calls for.

Re: Kelly controller
I was under the impression that after 1996 all club car was 5-0k ohm. Is this correct? I would buy this thing, if I had reason to believe it would last more than a week and not be dangerous in some way, but if no one has any practical experience to relate to me, I think I would prefer to put that money toward something that I would be buying later if it doesn’t perform.

Re: Kelly controller
Mooncarter, that is what I have decided. I will put the money toward something made in the USA.
