Default Driver side front wheel....am I crazy?!

So I was talking to a buddy of mine tonight, we both bought our carts from a local golf course on the same weekend, so we're having a good time going through them together. He bought some wheels and tires recently to put on his and he noticed that the drivers side wheel was inset from the body, considerably more than the passenger side. I went out to look at mine to compare (both are 2008 CC DS's with iQ), and I noticed mine is the same.

Am I crazy? Should the driver side be 3/4 inch inside the body line?

Check the other side.

The pictures show both sides. Passenger side is in line with the body. Driver side is inside the body. Any other stock DS owners have this issue?

Can't tell much if anything from the photos. They both look about the same to me.

The front wheels are supposed to be inset more than the rear. (same wheels but narrower at the front)

Ok my apologies I’ll try to get some better pictures tomorrow. The driver side is definitely more inset than the passenger. It’s pretty close to at about an inch inside where the passenger is more like 1/4 inch or less inset.

I’m just wondering if my front suspension is off but it’s weird that my buddy’s cart and mine both have the same issue. Granted we bought them from the same golf course, but I mean how likely is it that they have the same issue with about the same measurement of inset?

No need to apologize for anything. The rear, the toe in/out and the entire front components play a role in what we are discussing. I do not know off the top of my head what the dimensions are as far as how much narrower the stance at the front is.

Check that the rear is securely bolted at the leaf springs to get a starting point
.

Also. Keep in mind that measurements at the front from one side to the other must be taken on a flat surface with a perfectly aligned front end, equally inflated tires, and the steering wheel clamped down without movement to tell one side from the other, and alignment to the rear. The offset makes this a challenge.

I can't see anything wrong with it either.

I don't see any difference except the rubber kick panel trim is missing on the passenger side.

I took the rubber off the passenger side to test fit my black diamond plate covers.
