1989 Club Car Ds 36v charging Question
I recently bought my first cart.
it came with a beat up lestermatic 8714. I cant find instructions for this thing. there is no timer on it. just an amp gauge. I plugged it in to charge it for the first time and it does the load hum but the amps says about 10 and seems to drop some. I plugged it in for 6+ hours but have zero idea how to read the gauge if its done? thanks |

Re: 1989 Club Car Ds 36v charging Question
It should be automatic and shut off when charged. It should start out around 15-20 amps and slowly drop to 0 before shutting off.

Re: 1989 Club Car Ds 36v charging Question
If my batteries are new dead (50% SAC), it'll take 12-15 hours to charge fully
