What ds parts fit on the carryall
Hey everyone. I just bought a 2000 club car carryall. It looks just like a ds from the front, but, the rear end has the dump bed. I am wondering should most of the ds parts fit like front and rear suspension pieces or is it all going to be carryall specific? I ask about suspension in particular because you have to drive it kinda sideways and it bounces some. The family loves the cart and I appreciate any help with this.

Re: What ds parts fit on the carryall
I can't say exactly what does/does not fit but as far as suspension goes they are VERY similar. Most, if not all, suspension parts are cross-compatible. Rear leaf springs are likely different.

They are very similar underneath.
The front leaf has an extra spring in it and there's an extra one or two in the rear. I think about 90% of the rest of it is interchangeable. |

Thanks for the input. I'll just have to double check then before I order anything. Noonan I live right by you. Are there any good cart places for carts?

Are you looking to buy a new or used cart?

Oops there's a typo in my post. I meant good places for parts not carts.

Re: What ds parts fit on the carryall
Sorry I didn't see this one, I forgot to subscribe.
There are plenty of shops around, one guy that has decent prices on wheel and tire sets but not much else and he still sells on CL I think. Due to the popularity of the market down here, unless you're looking to pay really high retail, your best bet is online. I try to get whatever I can from site sponsors, otherwise if I'm just experimenting or testing an idea, I just pick cheap stuff online until I have a definitive plan of attack, then I get good stuff from the site sponsors so I don't have to do the work twice. |

Re: What ds parts fit on the carryall
I have a 2004 CarryAll, a 1998 DS and a 2001 DS. They share a lot of parts, but you should always check. I found this site that has Illustrated Parts Lists available for free.
