Flag holders?
The wife is asking for a Christmas list and I would really like some holders that I could fly American flags from. I'm not talking about full sized flags like I see on pickup trucks ("Merica!) but something nice to fly the old National Standard in a smaller size. Everything I see is velcro'd to the cart and looks kinda cheesy. I don't seem to find anything like this from the site sponsors and am looking for suggestions. If I could find something specific to the Club Car DS that would be an added bonus!
Anybody have any ideas? |

Re: Flag holders?
This is a good one, but out of stock at present... sorry
https://www.collegeshade.com/golf_ca...6989_prd1.html or this one https://caddiebuddy.com/american-fla...ount-usa-flag/ or this one https://www.usflags.com/flagpole-to-...-flagpole.html Any of these work for you? |

Re: Flag holders?
You'll need to buy more than one if this is what you want to do......

Re: Flag holders?
Naturally the out of stock one looks the most promising! I had seen the Caddie Buddy and they just look a little cheesy to me :(
That cart has the spirit! Probably won't hit 5 mph with all of that wind resistance, but what an example!!! |

Re: Flag holders?
Wanted to post up after Christmas and what occurred (in case anyone else is looking for ideas). My wife gave my flag wants to my son who came up with this. Way better than what I was thinking!

Re: Flag holders?
I have basically the same setup but shorter whips-3 ft so it'll go under the carport without hitting.

Re: Flag holders?
How did you mount yours and do you have any issues with them staying put? I used some decorative 90 degree brackets that I drilled out to work with an existing seat bolt and then put another self tapping screw in to hold everything tight. I am just wondering if I am going to need to put some type of brace up higher to keep the whips secure under speed :)

Re: Flag holders?
My cart does not have a rear seat and still has the sweater basket. We just used a piece of flat stock and ran it across the top rear of the sweater basket. We used the existing bolts that held the basket to mount it. The flat stock extended past the basket about 1 1/2" and we drilled the whip mounting holes there. Mine is plenty sturdy with no additional braces. I had 4 footers there previously -the smoked ones like yours but they quit working about a week after purchase. I got tired of the back and forth with the FleaBay seller and just bought another shorter set. I'll try to take photos when I get out of work if its still light out.
