Club Car DS w/ alltrax slowing down
So I've got a 2000 Club Car DS 48v that I have put a MOT-A1 motor, alltrax sr48500, upgraded f/r, upgraded cables, solenoid (bought the whole kit from Scotty). Batteries are 2018 Trojans. The cart was awesome for a while (i put all the stuff on about a year ago), but the past month or so i've noticed the cart has slowed down significantly...it seems like it's performing now like it was when originally stock. I never measured the speed before but I'd say I was probably getting 21-22 mph out of the cart, now I'm maxing out at 15 mph. What could be causing this and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance

Batteries. Give them a full charge, disconnect from charger, wait 12 hours, and then measure the voltage across the entire pack and each battery individually. Make sure you have a good volt meter. Report back with the results. If you want to go ahead and move to step two, measure pack voltage under load and each battery under load. You can search the forum for this process. Report these results too.

Also hook the controller up to your computer and verify that the throttle is going to 100%

I have noticed a significant loss of power since it got cold here in Missouri fwiw. I too have alltrax setup on my DS. |
