You might be getting low output due to the battery not being able to push 80+ Amps to the heater?

I ordered the 48V/1200watt DC Thermal unit - it will be here tomorrow - will report back on temps I'm getting out of the unit and where I mount it.

Interested to hear how it works out for you. I used this one I don't think I have low output, it's just small, and can only raise 10f so much :) I have a large aux battery. For me the windshield was the most important as my breath fogs it in 10 seconds when it's that cold. Stay warm and good luck in the install!
