Default 402 vs other options

The plan for my G16 has been to go with the 402 & the plowman performance kit, but I'm thinking about a "plan B" if the 402's don't come to fruition. I'm very new to golf carts & would appreciate some input on the pros & cons of going with the 402 vs after-market big-blocks???

Pretty sure the 402 is available now. I’d call him and discuss it with him directly

If they’re in, it would have been within the last couple of days because I’ve been checking in & am on the waiting list. I’ll check back on Monday though.

Yeah I waiting on the 402 as well, other option i thought was a Vandguard or Predator 670 cause they basically will bolt right in if you cart is lifted. Just need a primary clutch, belt and exhaust.

I just want the 402 because you are getting the Yamaha reliability, its bolt in option, stock sound level and I spent money on the plowman's clutches already. Also a lot of my buddies i ride with have the vtwin and they are always working on the exhaust cause there a much louder and trying to tune them to run right.

I'm hoping the 402 lives up to what I'm hoping for!

Has anyone heard anything on the 402? I don't want to over call Plowman's just wondering if someone reached out?

thanks
