Re: Need trailer for my ezgo
5x10 is what I use, in fact hauling my cart on 4 hour drive in the morning to a tournament in Nashville. In hauling is what you are after that size works well for my needs. Mine has wood floor and mesh steel ramp.

Re: Need trailer for my ezgo
5'x10' is a pretty good size for a cart trailer. I went with a 6'x12' just because it is so much more versatile. I can actually haul the cart with my hitch carrier attached on the rear. It also leaves room on both sides for coolers, chairs and other accessories as needed. One thing to consider is that anything less than 5' wide and you will have trouble backing up with it because you can't see it in the mirrors of a full size pickup. Also the shorter the trailer, the more difficult it is to back up.
A friend of mine hauls a Polaris Ranger on a 4'x8' aluminum golf cart trailer and that thing is just ridiculous to maneuver in reverse. Ride quality is also reduced because the Polaris is sandwiched on the trailer and there is no way to move it to balance the load better. The larger the trailer, the easier it is to position the cart to balance the load. |
