Yamaha G1 no spark in either direction

ive been repairing carts for a while now but i have never been stumped like this. ive got a Yamaha g1 that ive had going for a year now its used for airport use. recently i had a massive ignition failure resulting in no spark in either direction. ive cleaned every possible terminal and/or replaced the terminal. i did the old fashion stick the screw driver in the plug cap and shock yourself and i got nothing not even a jolt. the plug is only about a week old because i recently did a 500 mile rebuild. i checked with a volt meter along the trail to the beloved cdi box ive got power going in and no power coming out of it. is there a way to wire around the cdi to test if that's where my problem is or at least a very in expensive cdi to purchase..i know all the cdi is a computer board with wires attached to it filled with a resin so the wires theoretically and go bad inside
