78 g1 running slow
I got it off craigslist in Sams Valley in Jackson county Oregon for 200 bucks..ive had it for 2 years and its been running great until recently just starting running slower than molasses. Any ideas? Plus im total interested in any upgrade ideas. its stock ..removed the top built some mini hog racks for it. I live like a 1/4 mile from river/small country store access and love driving this thing when its working well. It is of course the two stroke 250 model. I heard rumors about disabling governors and cooking mufflers and lift kits over sized rims/tires and dual crome exhaust and yes this old girl is overdue a makeover but I'd be delighted just to get her running right for hauling firewood/hay trips to the river and beer runs hell yeah.
So any helpful tips/videos/links or any mad tinkers nearby would totally rock! Joe in Grants Pass Oregon. |
