I ran the Umax spring and heavy duty belt on my stock G2 with 22 inch tires, it would climb most hills, slower than slow but it would do it.

Heck I might have to disagree Duramax. I've got a stock engine with my CPP setup 6" lift and 22's on 10's mine would do a steady pull to hills at the campground I go to in Bristol Tennessee with 4 people and more than 800 pounds in fluffy passengers.

I used to pull my 17" 150hp outboard boat out of a lake with my stock engine G9. I did mod the clutch but stock belt and spring and primary. I pulled a v8 19' I/O around the yard with it, hay wagons, empty car haulers, etc. It pulls better with the clone now but also spins more so you have to be careful you don't put a hole in the yard.

Before I put the clone in I had to replace the worn out secondary, put a cut sheave in, umax spring, HD kevlar belt from CPP. It really worked well. The cut sheave helps it tow as it gives a lower gear to start with, the belt helps do that too, the umax lets it rev more. Towing and hills, same thing.
