Oh I was under the impression that the G2-14 had the same a arms. Mine look quite different.The drawings in parts houses looked like what I have.My mistake.

G1-G2 have tubular arms like that (that are different iirc), all the G9 have stamped ones and G14-16 are the same or similar. Is it g22-up they are cast iron and the shock is set up like a strut and the spindle pivots with the shock.

All I can come up with is either there is a small lift bracket on top of the shock, or the shocks were changed and (longer so they) lifted it a little. Seems odd because the arms and tie rods don't look angled much at all. Only other thing I can think of is if the spindles are not correct, maybe G1 spindles or something, but I don't know what combo would do that if the case.

Alright thanks. It has me bewildered also. The rear has not had any lift brackets so I would imagine the front doesnt but ill take a closer look. Thanks again
