Default G14 oil drain plug leak

The plug was over tightened and is leaking worse and worse after 2 oil changes and sealant was tried. Will an expandable plug hurt it anymore?is there a fix for this?

I am handicapped and need it.
Thank you

First, try a new drain plug washer, its designed to compress slightly to seal better. Costs a buck, should be replaced when oil changed. Part number 812-11198-00-00. Also, the next size up is a 1/2"-20, can be done without motor removal, dip the tap in grease to catch shavings.

If that doest work then see if you can re-tap it to a slightly larger size and get a new plug.
