Default Have to roll Yamaha G16 gas to start

My G16 has to be rolled only the First time when using before it will turn over. After this initial roll it will start every time. Great for theft protection but a real pain. Any suggestions?

Thought that might be it, but the cart runs fine after the first time starting. Goes 18 holes with no other problems. Next day have to roll it again to get it to turn over only the first time. Checked brushes and they are fine.

Could be a weak battery. Try an overnight charge, then see how it goes in the morning. - RAY

Had the exact same issue. Replaced battery, starter, regulator and it would still do the same thing. Finally traced down the small ground wire coming from the battery and found it was broken just before the connector at the motor ground.
