Default hard to start

Hello, I am new to this forum and this is my first time posting. Please bear with me as I figure out how to articulate my club car issue. Replaced solenoid, rebuilt starter, new carb. Cart started right up and ran great for a few weeks. Now I have to pump the accelerator constantly for it to engage. Its been modified with an electric gas pump so choke is not an issue. However, I have to be careful because if it doesn't start right up I risk flooding the engine. The accelerator controls gas so I'm guessing this may be a carb issue?

Carb problem, or your pump is forcing too much fuel into the carb and flooding it.

What year is your cart? Which motor do you have?

I had a 99 club car with electric fuel pump .It worked great. It was a low pressure 1 to 4 psi . It was wired to side of solenoid that was 12 volt only when gas was pushed. You should still use your choke as always. If carb is aftermarket good chance it is problem .Some aftermarket carbs work some don't.
