Default How much lift for 23's on Marathon?

Getting through the mechanical stuff on my 84 marathon and will be going with a basic lift on this cart... which is a 4" lift, said to be good for up to 22" tires. I was thinking about keeping this cart project cheap and easy... but if 23's are worth the trouble, I can mod/fab what I need to to get it done. So, other than swapping front ends with a quad or someting, is there a practical way to do this?

If you are using the stock wheels, the only issue you will have is hard turn under flex the tires could rub the back of the front fender. The easiest fix for the ezgo is to install longer leaf springs on the front which pushes the tires forward.

i built my marathon lift myself, like a lot of others do..was cheap, fast and relatively easy if you have any fab skills.
i went 5 inches and 22-11x10 wheels and tires..if you want taller and r building it yourself go ahead and go with 5 inch..i already want bigger lol
with my 5 inch lift i could have went with 23,s and wish i would have as i have plenty of room..
i beat on my cart pretty hard,as in,over 10 inch rocks, some steep hills etc etc and the lil cart just goes thru it very well...good luck

22's is the biggest you can go on a marathon with a 5" lift.

Thanks, 22's on 10 rims it will be. EFX Blades are my first choice... I'll be going street legal later.

Yes.. with 10x8 rims...I'm thinking I'll use steelies so I won't worry about screwing em up on the trails and water crossings.
