As Iam doing some more research, are you able to change clutches and springs and little stuff to improve performance on a cart like Iam looking at.

Look up all the engine prices from our sponcers etc, call them and ask for prices or go to there web sites, its them that helps keep this place running. And yes there is several ways to improve your cart, clutch springs, torque convertors, belts etc

I started another thread with videos of the cart to see what you guys think. They took a video of under it but Iam still not sure of what piece you guys say are common rust issue. Here is the thread.

Carefully check the frame directly under where the battery sits. That's where mine was rusted out. The frame shown in the video looks OK as far as I can tell.

I couldn't really tell how much smoke there was in the video. If it runs well (it isn't fouling the spark plugs) and has plenty of power, you can always check the oil level frequently and add oil as needed.

Thats start up was after it has been sitting for awhile to. I think if I can free up some time here soon Iam going to go check it out.

just go get the cart !!! once you have it you will feel the addiction and spend unreasonable amounts of money on it anyways. were just lucky we all don't need needles for this "hobby" or someone would try and find a way to rehabilitate us all.
