Valve collets EZ GO
can someone tell me how to put collets on the valve stem on a ez go gas when trying to do the i keep dropping the valve
|

1. You can use compressed air into the spark plug hole to hold the valve up.
or 2. If the keepers are already off the valve, use a zip-tie to hold the valve up. Remove the spark plug and put the piston all the way to the bottom. Take about 3 feet of nylon clothes line and put as much of it into the spark plug hole as possible. Make sure you don't lose the end of it. Raise the piston. This will push the clothes line up and hold the valve in place while you install the keepers. Lower the piston and remove the clothes line. Put a little bit of grease on the keepers. That way you won't drop them. |
