trouble shooting after broken intake valve - needs gas
Ok, the golf cart ran fine until it suddenly broke down. After pulling the engine out, I determined that the intake valve broke off. So I replaced it and every since I can not to get it to run correctly. I can get it to idle for awail then it seems to run out of gas. A couple times the golf cart would just take off full speed and would not stop. So I don't know what is going on.
So I replaced all fuel tubing and fuel filters and fuel pump. Something I noticed was gas was driping out of the new fuel pump in the middle of the fuel pump (there is a little circle heshed area, not sure if that is correct or the new pump is no good). Any ideas what to do next? I'm stuck to the point I might get a electric fuel pump. Thanks! Aaron |
