Tighter is more torque and lighter tension on the spring is faster.

See if you hook the spring and give her that twist where you need to go to 140 and stop to put it together with the spring in another hole you need to turn it more than 140 to say 160 and so on.

If you twist the spring more... lets say you skip a ramp it will be to tight and you will not get the up shift your looking for in the secondary. To light when your primary grabs the belt it will suck it down out of first per-say into second and load the motor to much off the line.

I like to tune CVT with a tight secondary and lighten it off till I load the motor with out any ping.

cheers Don.

You are right about the Holes , 1 Speed , 2 Stock & 3 is Torque , turn the Helix 1/3 Clockwise & lock her down . Best way I've found is hold the Helix & turn the clutch Counter-Clockwise 1/3 .

So basically the 140 is from stock hole 2? And if I go to 3 then take it to the same mark as stock, so like 160?
