Please help....... Cart will not go after woods run
My son went mudding in my 06 48 volt club car.
Drove it through some puddles and through the woods. It stopped working and they had to push it out of the woods. 24 hrs later still will not go It clicks when I hit the gas but nothing. What should I check before I really beat his @$$. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |

Re: Please help....... Cart will not go after woods run
Is there anything I can check voltage or do you think it just needs to dry out?

Make sure the mcor is dried out completely first. Maybe use a hair dryer if you have to.

Quote:
At the solenoid small posts do the following: 1- Take your DVM and place the red lead on the solid blue wire and the black lead on the main pack negative. You should get 48vdc (If not, we lost the Pos Input) 2- Next, take your DVM and place the black lead on the blue/white stripe wire and the red lead on the main pack positive. You should get 48vdc (If not, we lost the Neg input) If you are getting those then solenoid should be closing. If it is not, remove the wires from the 2 small posts and check the 2 posts resistance (150-180 ohms) across them. |

Ok not sure....
When I tested volt I had pack volt (50 volts) on each but I get no resistance between the two posts. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |

Ok, the activation coil is fine, on steps #1 & #2 you did it just as described? If so, the solenoid should be closing and you should hear it.....

Re: Please help....... Cart will not go after woods run
Thank you all for the help. Turns out to be a 2 part issue
Wire to controller was damaged. Easy fix. The solid blue wire post was damaged too. Guess that is why I showed 0 the 177 then 0 again. Replacing the solenoid (amazon 1day shipping) Sorry for being a dumb ***. Been about 10 years since I had a cart and lived just a few miles from Tungpo so he helped me out.
