Loud Hum from EzGo 72v

HI...I have an ezgo txt, 2018, that emits a loud hum. When I stop, it will continue to hum for 30-45 seconds, then stop. I'm thinking it is the solenoid but not sure. What is this hum and how can i decrease the loudness? It has been tweaked to 29 mph...if this matters.

It was tweaked incorrectly. Keep running it and both the controller and the motor will end up requiring replacement.

I am too having the same experience with a 72v 2020 L6. I have been told that it’s normal from a reputable cart sales company in SC. So you shouldnt hear anything coming from the controller when placing the cart in Forward or Reverse or pushing the gas? I have video of the sound.

I responded to your other post. Dealers are not experienced with the proper methodology to increase speeds on those carts and they mess them up when trying. Once this has been done, you may end up having to buy a brand new replacement controller, and never let a dealer mess with it afterwards. It takes someone with intimate Curtis controller knowledge to make the proper changes. I do not have the 2020 controller OS/VCL files to take it back to a stock condition so it can be repaired. I can however do this to prior years, up to 2019.
