Default 99 txt jumped then won’t move

Batteries are 1 yr old trogens. They are fully charged

Put cart in gear and it jumped and now won’t move.

Checked controller it flashes 4 green flashes and then stays green. So controller is good

Checked solenoid. Removed resistor from the large terminals. From battery to positive side of solenoid to neg on battery pack. I get 38.84. From neg battery pack to neg solenoid nothing. Press pedal and I get 38.84 on both sides. So solenoid is good

Checked throttle. Between throttle 1 an 2 on controller. I get 9.67 volts. Press peddle all the way down and I get 5.32 v. Is my throttle bad? I know it should be 10 and 6 when depressed all the way

It’s has been stopping intermittently for a couple months. But then will run for a good while. So I’m thinking motor is good so that leaves only ITS throttle

Thanks in advance for any help

Ok took throttle sensor out and this is what it looks like. I’m thinking it may be bad. Anyway I ordered one from amazon and will get it on Monday. It’s only 26 bucks so harm if that isn’t it.

What type drive system and what model Alltrax controller?

The ITS sensor most definitely needs to be replaced, but it's not what's keeping cart from moving. The voltage range is a bit off, but not enough to shut down the controller.

The crack(s) in the potting compound is letting moisture into the circuits inside the sensor and the misbehave when damp. Schematic of sensor attached.

This morning I checked where I had bypassed reed switch. Redid all those connections. It ran for awhile then quit again. I took out the key switch and taped up all those connections. It is now running for now. When pedal I depressed I get 4 green blinks then solid green. With full throttle it turns to amber. Never have noticed if this is the way it has always done

One other thing. I have on board charger. Can I remove the plugs and wire directly?

Green to amber is correct. You wired around the key switch? If yes that sounds like your problem

Seems to be running now. I redid all the connections at the awitch. I added a volt meter several years ago. Some of those connections were corroded and some bare wires.

Went out today it quit again. I tried new switch nothing. I am getting voltage to switch. My its is calling for power. Checked wires from switch and bypassed reed switch. Wires good. My reversing contactor is clicking. The switch sends pack voltage to the contactor.

Already checked solenoid and it checked good.

I know motor is good as it ran a lot yesterday.

Anybody know how to troubleshoot reversing contactor?

Also when it runs the controller blinks 4 times then at wot it is solid Amber When it’s not running it solid green. Is this normal?

Any help is appreciated. It about to take a match to it

Been out and about all day, senior discount day at the local stores.

Sounds like the control wiring and throttle are working normally.

You get 4 green blinks then steady green, so the AXE is powering up normally.
You get an amber at WOT, that indicated the throttle is going to 100% and the controller is not in amp limiting.

In other words, the cart would probably run if the high current circuit was intact. Prime suspects are the main solenoid or the reverse contactor.

Put rear of half ton cart on jackstands so it doesn't take off unexpectedly and run over someone or something.

Connect DVM between AXE's B- and M- terminals.

With Key on and Forward selected, press pedal until solenoid clicks.
You should read full battery pack voltage.

If not, leave black test lead on controller's B- terminal and use the red test to trace the high current cables back to and through the reversing contactor until you find the missing voltage.

Do you happen to know where the reversing contactor kit was obtained?
