Ezgo will not go forward. Only reverse

My Ezgo just stopped on hole 5. Would go in reverse but not forward. Diagnostic test were good. I suspect the controller is defective. How can I test to make sure?

Yes, PDS or DCS cart will fail in forward first. operating in reverse only. We swapped the white and black wires at the controller for my cheap neighbor = forward/no reverse, he ran like that for another year before fixing it.

Exact same problem (no forward). 2008 TXT PDS 36V. New F/R switch and pedal switch. Solenoid clicks but reverses only in F or R. Been researching controller. Unsure of which to get. Alltrax seems to be the one most suggest to purchase. I see a couple of different ones. Any advice on deciding which/where to buy would be helpful.

Look at the signature in the post directly above yours. Great products, service and information on that site.

Some factors to decide which controller you want/need:
Tire size
Terrain and topography
Desired speed
Weight- number of passengers, loads
