Default I have some wobble in my cart when approaching 27mph, help

So I have an 2014 RXV 48v system with aftermarket rims and tires and stock controller did 17mph. I just install a navitas kit last night and the cart now does 30mph which is great. the problem is now at 27mph on the street the cart starts to wobble which seems a little scary. is this normal? the steering wheel turns left and right back and forth slightly and i can feel a subtle left and right wobble back and forth all throughout the cart. Any ideas?

1st I think you already know u should turn it down for safety concerns.

What size tires and rims?

Any suspension changes recently?

Which navitas kit?

Other changes besides speed?

Great questions, the kit is for a Curtis RXV 600 amp, hi amp solenoid and two gauge cables. complete stock suspension, however I did notice this when I looked underneath the cart... is one of my rear struts lower mount boltbroken on the left side or is that OK? it looks a little to the left. The bottom nut looks slightly off. (see photo)

20” diameter total roughly
15” rim roughly
215/35/14 tire

my first solution was to get the tires balanced then measure and check for alignment out. What are your thoughts?

Like I said the problem begins as soon as I hit about 22+ miles an hour and the wobble increases with speed. Do you think this might be because it’s simply a golf cart and physics and the fact that it’s a very narrow wheel base, am I just confined to the fact that the wheelbase is not wide enough as a car would be so it wobbles?

Mine is very stable at speed. Similar tire wheel combo. I've had it as high as 36 mph on a slight downhill.
Mine was aligned by a guy who knew what he was doing.

Have a back seat? If so and the rear springs are still stock, this could contribute to the problem. I have "dual action" rear springs. Soft ride when unloaded but stiffen up when loaded and contribute to stability.

So, alignment first. All you can adjust is toe but it needs to be done by someone willing to take the time including test drives to dial it in.

My experience anyway.

Tighten or replace those loose broken rear suspension parts.
Also check remaining parts for looseness.

Toe alignment could be off as mentioned. Cart must be toe’d in slightly. If not steering will be “twitchy”

Raise cart off ground and check for slop in front wheels and suspension.
Check for correct psi in all four tires.

Did you try movie go front tires to rear and rear to front?
If it’s a bad rim or tire the wobble will move to where ever that wheel got mounted.

Example my cart had wobble thru out entire cart. After I rotated tires wobble moved to front so felt in steering wheel.
Found one tire had a flat spot from sitting that eventually went away after few hours of driving on asphalt/hard roads.

Few items to check when trouble shooting😊
