Golf carts are NEVER grounded for safety reasons because of the higher voltages you are exposed to ... 36 v, 48 v and even 72 v. It is best to follow this practice at all times for your personal safety and for the best operation of your cart.
That being said, any accessories that you have in the front of your cart such as lights, horn, stereo, etc should have Negative wires running to them. You could splice in to one of those Negatives or run a dedicated wire back to the Main Negative or Negative bus bar if you have one or install one. |
