Default Bad axle bearing?

2005 ezgo series Get in cart in either forward or reverse hit the gas and get a rear end whine or vibration sounds like something is just spinning but no cart movement. Could it be another bad axle bearing? I can take a video if needed

Sounds like the splines on the hub have gone. Search for that and there will be a lot of information.

Your hub splines are worn. You need new rear axle hubs.

Passenger rear hub found to be stripped. Pulled it off and its basically smooth. Must have been occurring for a while. Thank you to both of you.

Should I go Ezgo OEM from my local dealer again or is there something better out there??

Ezgo ones seem to be more often "cut straight" for the pad surface. Be specific to electric, the gas model has similar ones, but bigger axle splines.

Just wanted to come back and say you are right about the aftermarket ones. I had one here so I figured I would try it. For some reason I could not even get it to slide onto the axle shaft. Would not go on. Visually the same but perhaps the teeth are not cut straight. So tomorrow I will go to my local ezgo dealer and get an OEM one and hopefully that will work.
