2 bottom bolts and one at the top....not the mounting bolts
when blowing air inside i could feel it moving out the other (somewhat of course)

The bolts that hold the field windings inside the motor? I guess. I’d still eliminate the motor with a quick test. PDS or series drive?

Well I know a car battery is- or two of your 6V batteries. Not sure about a small battery.
