Default 23 x 10 x 50 tires rubbing on brake pedal shaft

Cart:
2007 EZGo Txt Series 36v lifted

23" tires are rubbing on the brake pedal in left turns. Is there a modified brake pedal that does't poke down so far or is there a way to circumvent this?
My cart came with these 23's on it so I'm trying to make due after buying an unnecessary controller ($500) and a throttle sensor ($23.00) and a charger ($300) and ...and...and...
