4 gauge upgrade question
Hello all, I recently upgraded all my battery cables to 4 gauge and also upgraded the positive and negative cables coming off of the batteries. My question is the other cables that go to the forward reverse switch and also to the motor are still six gauge since those didn't come with my kit. Do I need to replace all those cables as well? Or is the way I have it okay? Controller and motor is all stock but I do have a lift kit with larger tires. I also upgraded the forward and reverse switch to a heavy duty version because I was getting a really bad burning smell. Thank you in advance for any help

Re: 4 gauge upgrade question
All 13 (or 14 if your controller has a A2 terminal) need to be 4Ga or thicker.
They are connected in a series loop and the same battery amps travel through all of them. |
